Today is hot. Arizona desert hot. The reward for tolerating this heat you ask? Looking out onto the back yard at a very happy cactus if full bloom announcing it’s love for this heat. From inside, with the air conditioning running and fans in every room I will take this sunny, happy sign of summer. It is so much better then muggy with a side of mosquitoes. We’ll just wait to BBQ until after the sun goes down.

Mothers – Write!

My friends Amy Silverman & Deborah Sussman Susser are at it again. Join them in their fall Mothers Who Write workshop – it starts September 10, Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.

Registration is now open. Lauren Chambers at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is taking registration information 480-874-4641. Mothers Who Write also now has a Facebook page. Visit Mothers Who Write online.

I so loved taking this workshop I recommend it so highly – get out their and write. I am still motivated from it and still writing.

BANK – ARTIST MADE EXHIBITION at MADE
