This is so Craft-Tastic!

A good friend of mine sent this video to me as we had a great discussion about making stuff yesterday. She is a dear friend who is so super creative and lives on an amazingly fabulous farm in Northern Michigan. She is a quilter, a gardener supreme, a dancer, an illustrator, a painter, a mom of two and today I celebrate her and thank her for sending me this video – love it!!

Crafty About Town

This weekend offered two fun crafty events in downtown Phoenix. I was at both demoing the YUDU. The first was the Coffee, Cookie, Crafts event at Braggs Pie Factory. Many vendors were selling their wares, kooky pinatas were hanging from the ceiling, there were cookies from Urban Cookies and demos from crafty types.  The second event was the Swap-O-Rama at Trunk Space. Folks came out to this one with their used clothes in hand ready to re-work them. Then we screen printed on the new garment. I made an apron out of a tee shirt and my buddy Sarah made a fun Princess dress for the short one, who came along for the day. Check out the tee-shirt apron how to over on Lovely Lula. After the Swap sewing and screening we went next door to Sweets and Beats for a candy treat – yum! We had a really good time! Yea Phoenix for getting Crafty!

Bamboo and Me – what will we do together?

Visual: Me skipping through the meadow holding hands with my new Bamboo, sun rays shining in a burst, lovey dovey music playing. Well that’s how I feel right now! Super yummy inside and warm all over. Thank you Wacom for the Bamboo Craft Tablet. I am forever drawing on paper then scanning it in and then manipulating it. Today I was given a Bamboo Craft Tablet to see what I can make happen. The folks over at PenScrappers.com are using this little yummy enforce. I can’t wait to see what I can do with it. Stay tuned . . . . . .  Cue: sickly sweet music.
