Last week I got a sneak peek at the show Nowhere to Hide: Three Artists in the Desert at the ASU Art Museum. My friend Carrie Marill has work in the show and was working on painting a wall mural when I stopped by to visit. The show opens on Friday night October 9th at 7pm. Here are some cheater sneak peek pics.

Mexican Fun Finds
I headed down to Mexico over the weekend and I could not resist taking some snaps of the fun items for sale in the marketplace. I went with Rosie (my mom) and Pam (my sister) – we had a great time, ate well and laughed a little too much. Gal time is fun! We also had a chance to stop off in Yuma to eat at my favorite restaurant La Casa Gutierrez.
Gypsypalooza
Gypsy the hand held design studio for Cricut by Provo Craft is being released tomorrow. This exciting new gadget is a mother load of a device that you can carry around with you. So what’s the big deal you ask? Well if you own a Cricut or more importantly Cricut cartridges the Gypsy can store up to 7,000 cartridge designs and up to 10,000 of your own projects. You’ll be able to mix and match all cartridges and print without having to change cartridges in the Cricut machine. You will also be able to search the entire Cricut library with the keyword. If I can get my hands on one I will take a test run and report back. I am most excited to have better access to cut my own custom designs out.
