In my ongoing look at fantastically illustrated children’s books I had to share this one. It is called Always Room for One More and you can find it at Amazon. I just love love love the chicken scratch illustration style. I want to make some work in the style – it is so brave and bold.

Non-Smoking Children
How about this doozy of a book I found at a thrift store?! I am super excited to see the use of children smoking to encourage them not to smoke. This little gem of a publication is put out by a dentist office. Great way to encourage kids to keep their teeth clean and white. It’s true, there are so many things you can do better when you don’t smoke kids!

September is here and that means getting back to it for us Arizonians who hibernate all Summer. I had a great Summer this year. I read a ton and thought I should make some recommendations of my favorites. A big thanks to my friend Cindy at Changing Hands book store.
