GO VOTE!

Your vote matters. I know sometimes it feels like it doesn’t,  but if every registered voter got out and used their right to vote you could actually have your voices heard. It is so important to remember that as a US Citizen this is a right totally taken for granted. Ask  yourself “What would it look like if my right to vote was taken away”? Use it or lose it! Get out and Vote today!

Summer Ends Music Festival

I love a music festival and it’s even better when it’s in my town so I don’t have to travel. This past weekend was the Summer Ends Music Festival at Tempe Beach Park. Two of the days got rained out and had to be moved inside the Marquee Theatre so I only have a few photos but the music was great, the company was the best and the inspiration was plentiful. I spent much of the weekend so inspired by the music that I drew and drew and drew in my little travel notebook.

Living with Stuff: How Objects Define Me

I am speaking on Thursday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m. on Living with Stuff: How Objects Define Me at the Ceramics Research center at the ASU Art Museum Brickyard. Myself and Kathleen Vanesian discuss our pieces in the exhibition and the role collections and objects have played in our lives. Moderated by Peter Held.

These Are Some of My Favorite Things on view at the ASU Art Museum Brickyard through Oct. 11, 2014

Curated by Peter Held, this exhibition features eight private collections from local artists, collectors and creatives, all equally passionate and obsessive about the things they love and choose to live with.
