Childrens Book Campy Illustrations
From the ongoing books I love series. We checked this fantastic book out of the library many times this summer. It is all about a boy named Rusty who goes camping with his family called Rusty’s Red Vacation. The illustrations are magically delicious. I also love that the entire book is printed in only two colors, red and black. The graphics are tight and wonky at the same time – I love that! Wonky is my way!
O’Keeffe Clouds
We very rarely have clouds in our skies here in the Arizona Sonoran Desert but when we do boy it is exactly what Georgia O’Keeffe was painting about in the 1965 piece Sky Above Clouds. Such beautiful crazy patterns I wanted to get out the paint and get all O’Keeffe on the canvas. Instead I opted for some photographs. Enjoy!
