Modern Phoenix Week

Whether you’re a longtime fan of Phoenix’s world-class, mid-century modern architecture or you’re a newbie to its design and architecture scene, your week to show off, catch up, and get your fix is coming.

April 9 through 17, Modern Phoenix and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art are teaming up for the seventh annual Modern Phoenix Week.

This year’s event is in Sunnyslope, a community filled mid-century modern homes that’s celebrating its 100th anniversary (You can read more about Sunnyslope in this week’s Surreal Estate by Robert Pela.), and it’s action-packed, to say the least.

On tap for this year are parties, home tours, lectures, and expos that are likely to make any mid-century modern-o-phile drool.

Just Dance

“Our purpose in life isn’t to arrive at a destination where we find inspiration,
just as the purpose of dancing isn’t to end up at a particular spot on the floor.
The purpose of dancing – and of life – is to enjoy every moment and every step,
regardless of where we are when the music ends.”
Wayne W. Dyer
