Nationals Vs. Mets

Our last afternoon in DC came with a surprise invitation. Nate from the The Decemberists offered us tickets to the Nationals Vs. Mets baseball game. Long story short he is good friends with our DC host Thom Loubet so thanks Nate and Thom! Anyway, Yes I attended a sporting event. Our seats were right behind home plate. It was hot and kind of a slow game but we had a good time. I also got to enjoy some yummy ice cream while everyone else drank beer. Here are a couple pics.

Georgetown walk-about and Boating

I have to get in my last couple of post from the DC trip! These are some shots of our morning in Georgetown walking along the canals and some shots out on the Potomac river in our rented canoes and kayaks from Jack’s. We wrapped this fun up with some seriously yummy fish tacos from The Tackle Box.
