So I experimented a bit tonight. No not in that way – or that way either! I grabbed all of my YUDU goodies and got to it. First, I did a freehand drawing, I decided for this first go I would do a simple one color line drawing. Next I transferred it on to a transparency, then burned my screen and was then ready to start printing. I have to admit that I was a bit impatient waiting for the screen to dry – 20 minutes is a long time to sit by knowing the screen is freshly burned and ready to go but for some water that needs to dry off. I wished the fan was hopped up on some speed and I could have a three minute dry time instead. But I followed the rules this first time and left it in the dryer for the full time. I looked over all of my ink choices to pass the time and decided on the fabulous gun metal bronze (grey really) – any way I really like that color. It is metallic and shiny without being too teenage pop-ish! What fun! Looking forward to more in the next few days. I have to now work on two color and registration which seems a bit scary to me. So here are some snaps of my process and out-come from tonight’s experiment. Thank you to Provo Craft and Mike for giving me a YUDU for free to experiment with. I am super excited to play!
I am so tempted to get a Yudu. Blog entries like these do not help. 😛
