Ridding my life of plastic zip lock bags

My friend Carrie and I were very ambitious this past weekend. We set out to make 30 reuseable lined fabric sandwich bags. We cut, pinned and got some of the velcro sewn on but zero completed after an entire day! We will pick up where we left off this coming weekend and sew until our knuckles bleed to get these fabulous pockets done. The kiddos will head off to school this fall fashionable and environmentally conscience. Here are some shots of our work.

    • so not for sale – these things are hard to make! I can send you to an online shop that makes them mass production. Snack Taxi.
