The new Facebook fan page layouts launched last Friday and that means a bit of searching is in order to find things that were in different locations with the old layout. The first run in with this, for me, was how to create an event. I did the hunt and thought I would share. So here is the step by step for Creating a Facebook event invitation:
- Go to your fan page
- Click ‘Manage’
- Choose ‘Edit Page’
- On the left hand side scroll down to ‘Apps’
- Choose ‘Events’
- Click ‘Go To App’
- Fill in event information (screen shot of this below)
- Add an event image on the left hand side
- Click ‘Create Event’
- Start inviting people
