Willow Homes: Art and Crafts

The down-town Phoenix historic district called Willow had a home tour this weekend and as part of that the streets were closed off to raise tents for artists and crafters to sell their wares. I was happy to see all the goods for sale by local folks. I popped down with some girlfriends for the walk-about. We took a pack of dogs owned by our friend Jeff from Blabbermouth AZ – he lives in the hood! I discovered a bunch of goodies on the tour and loved chatting with all my peeps. Who’s in the photos: The charming handcrafted confections of Little Addictions, The floral accessories of  Zebra Finch, The smart and crafty calendars by the Artsy Fartsy Fairy, The sweet little pins and art by Jolie Jour and The goodies from Modern Cat.

Love Them / Hate Them

I hate that I love Anthropology so much. How many times have I heard “I want to live there” yea me too I want to live inside an Anthro too but I hate them for finding all the good stuff and for marking it up quadruple the price. I love all of the old feely vibe but I hate them for making me love them so much. Look at these seriously cool things. Anthro – I hate you. All the delicious wire stuff reminds me of a Ben Shahn drawing – I love his work.

A rusty wire castle - I'd love to get that - oh but it's $1,500. Again - hate you!

Wall Flowers and Lollypop Trees

It was brought to my attention after the post on the short one’s room, that I have not provided a post on the smallest one’s room. She arrived 20 days early with a pop and a surprise so we had to finish up after she was here. It is pretty cute and so I am happy to share. I love the deer art on the wall by Larkspur Studio’s there is also a fabu piece on the upper shelf by Fort Guerin. The couch is a re-covered vintage piece and the rug is from IKEA it is called LUSY BLOM.
