I think I may have found my very own personal holiday. It is official, Feb. 9th is a day I have permission to soak in the tub all day reading. YEA! I have a stack of magazines to power through – this shall be the day. I have a massive collection of yummy Philosophy bubble bath too – thanks Sarah! Bubbles plus reading – throw in a candle and we have the sweet trinity. Oh wine and chocolate will have to visit as a couple wise men in Shepards robes. Holiday perfection!
In my ongoing look at fantastically illustrated children’s books I had to share this one. It is called Always Room for One More and you can find it at Amazon. I just love love love the chicken scratch illustration style. I want to make some work in the style – it is so brave and bold.
How about this doozy of a book I found at a thrift store?! I am super excited to see the use of children smoking to encourage them not to smoke. This little gem of a publication is put out by a dentist office. Great way to encourage kids to keep their teeth clean and white. It’s true, there are so many things you can do better when you don’t smoke kids!
