Eligibility – All Arizona ArtistsScottsdale Public Art is looking for artists who would like to participate in an exhibition in the Gallery@TheLibrary featuring artworks made with acrylic braid fibers repurposed from Randy Walker’s Spring Crossing installation for the Canal Convergence | Spring Equinox event in 2014.Spring Crossing was made with 35 different colors of UV resistant, solution-dyed 13/16”acrylic braid (commercially known as Sunbrella). Part of his proposal for this project included his desire for a second use for this material after his project de-installed.The exhibition is scheduled for display in the Gallery through Canal Convergence |Water + Art + Light 2016 and will be cross-promoted with the event. 15-20 artists will be selected and given 1 bag of fiber measuring approximately 2 feet in height and diameter as well as a $100 honorarium.More Info:
