Grand Opening of CREATE at Arizona Science Center

GET READY!  This weekend is the Grand Opening of CREATE at the Arizona Science Center

Saturday, September 26th 2015

10am – 4pm

CREATE Resource Center will be open to the public starting Saturday.  It will include activities such as 3D printing, sewing and woodworking.  The CREATE team of makers and artists will be there to give tours and perform demonstrations.  Guests will be able to create Marshmellow shooters and many more activities.  The event will open with a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Stanton.

Eye Lounge Presents Abbey Messmer

THIS Friday is “Third Friday Art walk” in downtown Phoenix!

So head down to the art galleries for some local flavor.  While you’re there, make sure you stop by Eye Lounge Contemporary for the installation of “Pool,” work by Abbey Messmer.

11951721_10153266501208661_8124170328278353789_oMessmer’s work is continuing along her previous theme, water.  Her newest piece allows the viewer to experience the deep end of a pool without actually having to be in the water.

Reception – Friday, September 18th 2015 from 6-10 p.m.

FREE and open to the public
The show will be up until October 11, 2015.
