Vera For Target

Finally getting around to posted which Vera Scarf I selected from this Summers Collection for Target. I stood there for a very long time trying to make a decision. I own several vintage Vera scarves but they are all the short neck kerchief style so I don’t wear then very often. These new ones are the long fabulous style that you can wear year round, we’ll in sunny Phoenix anyway.  I really do love everything Vera. So here is my selection, chosen because Orange is my favorite color, I wear a lot in the citrus family and I am a big fan of butterflies:

I don’t own this scarf but love it so much I had to post it since it is summer time, grilling season!

Mother’s Day Reading and Storytelling

Mothers Who Write Annual Mother’s Day Reading: Saturday May 11, 2013 from 11am to 1pm.

Open to the Public · Presented By Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA). Please join us for this free event at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, Stage 2 Theater as current and past participants in the Mothers Who Write Workshop share their work in a public reading. Mothers Who Write is led by Amy Silverman of Phoenix New Times and Deborah Sussman of the ASU Art Museum.

I will be reading a piece I wrote about my Dad called RV Moon View.
