The workshop at MADE was a fun one yesterday – thanks to all who came out to play. We made many, many V-day cards and love letters. We looked at poems, quotes and craft materials for our inspiration. There will be more opportunities in 2010 to pop in for a workshop at MADE. Hop over to their site and join the mailing list so that you are informed or subscribe to my list and I’ll let you know. Get inspired here though and get to making your own love notes! Here’s some pics from the day.
A few other CHA shots I have to post. The first few are shots from a pen booth. A dress made from pen caps – ooh la la. Then a shot from the Provo Craft Party of Megan Nicolay (Generation T) and Mark Montano (Big Ass Book of Crafts) both of whom have new books out. I had to take a shot of Sarah Moore of CraftCritique tote bag covered in cool buttons. There is a shot of me chatting it up with Gabi from CraftWell, one of me and my mixology buddy Erin Basset of creativitE and a shot of me with the Queen of crafts herself Aleene of Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue! What fun we had!
No seriously, I am so into the holidays. I normally don’t even do the gift thing but this year I am magically finding perfect little giving opportunities for the people in my life. But the best part for me is the gift wrapping – that is where the fun is to be had. I have a ridiculous studio that is so fabulous and it is filled with things to pull from for any project. I am an organized, focused hoarder. I love, love, love the personal label maker – so I know where everything is right now. Easy! Buy the bins, buy the label maker – make it your New Years Resolution. okay that is another post let us focus on the wrapping of the gifts. This was so much Fun – yes capital F! Descriptions of what the materials are in the captions below each image.
Tomorrow Saturday December 5 is Indie Chic @ 10th Street at the ASU Art Museum in Tempe. There will be over 30 participants including me! The fair is at Southeast corner of 10th Ave. and Mill St. at ASU Art Museum in Tempe from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. I have been having so much fun in the studio making goodies for this event at the museum. Stop by and visit! Here are some pics of just some of the goodies I will have on hand – plus there are still many more. These could not be included in the photos because they are still wet and drying but they’ll be ready in the morning!!
